Ballet Pointe Shoe Socker/Factory Operative– Full Training Provided
Location: Earl Shilton, Leicestershire LE9 7HS
Hours: 39 hours per week (permanent)
Pay: National Minimum/Living Wage (age 21+)
This job position focuses on Socking, with progression in the future to learn various other job roles within the factory.

What You’ll Do
• Trim loose threads around Binding and insoles of Pointe shoes.
• Scrape excess paste out of the shoe and around the insole.
• Cover gaps with the correct sock linings.
• Glue in Sock liners to create the finished Pointe shoe.
• Work with small hand tools such as embroidery scissors, knives and hammers.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, hitting targets.

Working Hours
• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
(includes 30-minute lunch + two 10-minute breaks)
• Friday: 7:30 am – 12:30 pm
(includes one 10-minute break)
