An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving, independent practice in Sheffield! A team driven by exceptional medicine, genuine collaboration, and a shared passion for keeping horses healthy, happy, and performing at their best. This is a practice where individuality is valued, ideas are welcomed, and people genuinely enjoy working together. Supported by a mix of new graduates, experienced vets, brilliant nurses, and a dedicated admin and reception team, you’ll be joining a friendly, close knit group that truly has each other’s backs.
As a predominantly ambulatory role with one dedicated clinic day each week, you’ll enjoy a wonderfully varied caseload ranging from much loved leisure horses to high level competition athletes. The clinic is fully equipped for lameness workups, reproduction, and performance investigations, with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy/gastroscopy, and in-house blood machines at your fingertips.
This is an independent practice with big ambitions, including a brand new, purpose built premises just around the corner from the current site. This exciting next chapter means more space, new facilities, and the chance to help shape the future of a practice that values your growth, encourages your professional interests, and supports you with regular case discussions and vet meetings. Each vet is also paired with a dedicated receptionist for diary and admin support, keeping your days smooth, organised, and focused on clinical work.
