Crynodeb
Provide high-quality obstetric care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. Lead Fetal monitoring across both hospital sites, supporting training, compliance, and service development. Perform Fetal growth scans and Doppler assessments for SGA and growth restricted babies. Run a weekly scan clinic and a fortnightly high-risk antenatal clinic. Cover elective caesarean section lists and triage sessions. Participate in the obstetric-only on-call rota (1:12), including twice-daily consultant-led ward rounds. Supervise and support junior doctors, contributing to teaching and appraisal. Engage in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to research and service innovation.
