Crynodeb
The Stock Counter Operative is responsible for completing accurate and efficient stock counts across warehouse, retail, or distribution environments. You will use handheld scanners, counting tools, and inventory systems to record stock levels, identify discrepancies, and support stock audits. Duties include counting products, checking locations, updating stock records, and reporting missing, damaged, or incorrect items to supervisors. You will assist with stock movements, ensure storage areas remain tidy and accessible, and follow all health and safety procedures.
Shifts run during the day or evening between 8am and 10pm, and flexibility is required to meet operational needs. Start date is ASAP. Ideally have hi-viz and step caps.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, good numeracy, and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable standing or walking for long periods and lifting items when required. The ideal candidate is reliable, organised, and confident using handheld devices or willing to learn.
