The role:As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils.
- Teach across primary age range, with flexibility to support pupils up to age 13.
- Differentiate learning to ensure accessibility for all students, using a variety of teaching strategies and resources.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to provide a holistic approach to learning.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting plans to meet evolving needs.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved in their child's learning journey.
Candidate Requirements:We are looking for someone who is:
- A qualified teacher with QTS
- Experienced in teaching children with SEN, ideally within a primary or middle school setting.
- Confident in managing behaviour positively and creating a calm, structured learning environment.
- Skilled at differentiating lessons and using creative approaches to engage pupils.
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine passion fo supporting children with additional needs.
- Comfortable teaching pupils up to the age of 13, adapting lessons to suit developmental stages.
