Make a Difference to Young Lives Location




Are you looking for a role where you can make a real impact on young people’s lives? Do you have a passion for creating a safe,
supportive environment and enjoy planning activities that help others thrive? If so, we’d love to hear from you.




At mhs homes, our Foyer service provides housing and support for young people aged 16–25 who may have faced challenging
circumstances. We’re looking for a Concierge who can be a reassuring presence overnight and at weekends, ensuring safety,
security, and a welcoming atmosphere.




What you’ll do

* Be the first point of contact for residents during nights and weekends.
* Monitor the building and maintain a safe environment.
* Support young people with empathy and patience, helping to de-escalate situations when needed.
* Encourage positive engagement by helping to run activities and create a sense of community.
* Work closely with our support team to uphold safeguarding standards and respond to incidents appropriately.




What we’re looking for

* Someone who genuinely cares about young people and wants to make a difference.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
* Awareness of safeguarding and a commitment to keeping everyone safe.
* A flexible, proactive approach and willingness to learn.
* Experience working with young people or in a customer-facing role is desirable, but not essential.




Weekend Shift Cover:

* Saturdays: 20:00 pm - 08:00 am
* Sundays: 20:00 pm - 08:00 am
