An opportunity has arisen for 2 reliable and enthusiastic Catering General Assistants to join Cidari Multi Academy Trust and support the day to day delivery of a high quality school catering service. Based within one of our academies, this role plays an important part in ensuring pupils and staff receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
Working as part of a friendly catering team and under the direction of the Catering Manager, you will assist with basic food preparation, serving meals, setting up and clearing dining areas, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times. The role requires a practical, flexible approach and a willingness to support the smooth running of the kitchen during busy service periods.
This is a hands on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their work, and understands the positive impact a well run catering service has on the school day.
The right candidate will have:
A recognised and relevant qualification in catering or hospitality at Level 4 or equivalent
GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above
A proven ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple sites
A high level of communication and organisational skills
The ability to use relevant technology and catering systems
A can-do attitude and strong customer service ethos
A commitment to the health, wellbeing and positive experience of pupils through the catering provision
