Crynodeb
As a member of the multidisciplinary team the post holder will contribute to the delivery of patients individual care. The post holder will demonstrate a level of skill and understanding which enables them to undertake all aspects of patient care including the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of direct patient care with supervision from senior staff, and in accordance with relevant procedures, guidelines and policies. The post holder will undertake both routine and specially identified tasks for which they have been trained and assessed as competent. The role involves assisting patients seen in the department, measuring vital signs, obtaining blood samples and other specimens as necessary. Using their own initiative the post-holder will keep material resources of the department well stocked and in good order and help to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. There is the opportunity to develop within the role and undertake further training and development. The post holder will act as a role model for colleagues.
