Social Care & Education are recruiting experienced Support Workers to support adults with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy, non-verbal communication, and behaviours that may challenge. You’ll deliver person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being.
Key Duties:
Provide personalised care, including personal care and daily living support
Assist with communication, social interaction, and community activities
Administer medication safely
Follow and update care plans
Support individuals calmly during challenging behaviours
Maintain accurate records and ensure a safe environment
Work closely with healthcare professionals and the wider team
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with complex needs
Current CPI (MAPA) or equivalent training
Moving & Handling experience
Medication administration experience
Strong communication skills and a calm, caring approach
Good understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
Drivers and non-drivers welcome
