The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative, to work at our client's busy food distribution warehouse, based in Eastleigh, Southampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company and be a part of a cohesive team!
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Working for a food distribution company in a chilled warehouse environment
- Helping to unload deliveries from vehicles and containers
- Moving pallets of stock into the warehouse
- Moving food products and repacking onto pallets
- Building and wrapping pallets
- Getting orders ready to be sent out to customers
- Picking and packing
- Assisting with all general warehouse duties
Previous warehouse experience is essential to be considered for this role. Experience within a chilled food warehouse would be advantageous. Please be aware that this is to work in a chilled environment, so please only apply if you are happy to work in the cold.
This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position, on a temp-to-perm basis. This means that the company will offer a permanent contract after 12 weeks, depending on performance and attendance.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:00.
Starting pay rate of £12.21 per hour.
