The department of Trauma and Orthopaedics is seeking to appoint a Trust Grade CT level doctor to join our busy team, working alongside 14 consultants and 12 specialist registrars. This post will join the established 1 in 8 Orthopaedic on call rota, working with our team of Core Trainees and F2 grade resident doctors. As a department we invest in our team and promote training and education opportunities as well as supporting career progression. This will include clinics, theatre, ward and on call responsibilities. All Trust Grade doctors have timetables equivalent to our training doctors with an allocated training budget.
The successful candidate will have at least 12months NHS experience, MRCS and ideally evidence of contribution to research or audit.
The post will be on a fixed term until December 2026 starting in February 2026, or as soon as possible.
We have approximately 600 beds and directly employ around 2,700 staff, with another 300 staff employed by contractors but working on behalf of the Trust. We are located on a single site in Kingston upon Thames, but run a number of outpatient clinics in sites across our catchment area including Raynes Park Health Centre, Surbiton Centre for Health, Queen Mary's Roehampton and Teddington Memorial Hospital.
We provide a full range of diagnostic and treatment services and have a national reputation for innovative developments in healthcare, particularly in 'patient-focused' care, day surgery and maternity services.
