Our services in Richmond and Wandsworth are looking for Recovery Workers to join them in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are enthusiastic, creative and passionate about helping others, we'd love to hear from you There are multiple full time, permanent positions available - both in Richmond (TW1 4HF) and in Wandsworth (SW11 1SW). The salary follows a fixed incremental pay scale, this starts at £29,000 per year, rising each year in line with our salary progression bands, up to £34,000 per year. This includes a £4,000 per year inner London weighting payment. The closing date for applications is 4th January 2026. Job Opportunity As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will be working within a highly skilled and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team who will support you in your development and your ability to deliver the best care you can to our clients. Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You'll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery. This is an integral role for With You - as a frontline worker, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, delivery of interventions and key work responsibilities. At our services in Richmond and Wandsworth, WithYou works closely with the lead provider, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and partners, St Mungo's and the charity CDARS (Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services) providing free and confidential support to adults in London experiencing challenges with drugs and alcohol. As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year. Essential Skills We are looking for positive and motivated candidates who are able to communicate with a wide range of people. You will also be organised with excellent time management skills. To be successful in this role you will: have some experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting have some experience of delivering services in a community setting have knowledge and understanding of delivering evidence-based interventions have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion and be happy to support other With You locations when needed Ideally you will also have previous experience of working or volunteering with people who misuse substances.
