Crynodeb
A Female Support Assistant is required for 9 hours per week to support a lady who is severely sight impaired and has chronic fatigue syndrome with some domestic tasks and community access.
The hours are fairly flexible, as the lady works at a special school, runs a home, cares for her two teenage daughters and the family dog. Some of the hours will be on a Wednesday or Thursday and some evening or weekend hours, depending on activity.
Some additional hours may become available in the future.
Duties/Activities will include: batch cooking, supporting her with swimming, going to the gym, days out etc.
The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour plus a mileage allowance.
It is essential that the support assistant has access to a car and has a UK Driving licence.
A DBS is required for this position.
Exception under the Equality Act(2010)- the post is only open to female due to the personal assistance required.
