A welcoming and inclusive primary school-known for its strong pastoral focus and nurturing approach-is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their supportive team for three days per week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is confident in the classroom and motivated by helping all learners succeed, including those with additional needs.
Whether you already have experience working with a high proportion of SEN pupils or you're eager to grow your skills in this area, the school will welcome your commitment, creativity, and willingness to learn.
The Role
- Lead a Year 2 class with a warm, positive, and structured approach
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and support a range of learning styles
- Work closely with support staff and SEND specialists to ensure every child can access learning
- Foster a safe, encouraging, and inclusive environment where pupils feel valued and motivated
- Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
- Contribute to the wider life of a caring, community-focused school
About You
- QTS is essential
- Strong classroom practice and a clear understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Experience working with SEN learners or a genuine desire to develop in this area
- A reflective, compassionate teacher who is committed to making learning meaningful and accessible
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- Reliable, proactive, and ready to make a positive impact from day one
