We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contract Manager to join our Electrical Team in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within a business renowned for delivering high-quality electrical products, both locally and nationally.

As an Electrical Contract Manager, you'll report directly to the Directors and take full ownership of multiple projects - covering traditional and Design & Build schemes. You'll be responsible for planning, procurement, delivery, financial performance and client satisfaction, ensuring safe and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of electrical projects from pre-construction through to handover
• Manage project planning, resourcing, budgets and timelines
• Conduct site visits, surveys, client meetings, inspections and handovers
• Provide guidance, support, and leadership to project teams, monitoring
performance and development
• Oversee procurement of materials, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring cost
efficiency
• Manage client relationships and handling expectations
• Liaise with Design, Estimating, and Subcontract teams to ensure successful
project delivery
• Drive performance improvements and promote continuous development within the
electrical team
• Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety, statutory testing, and SELECT
industry standards
• Maintain accurate project documentation and compliance registers
• Identify and maximise opportunities for extra works and revenue growth

What You'll Need to Succeed
• Core electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds)
• Ideally, HNC / HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Proven experience as an Electrical Contract Manager or Project Manager
• Strong background in Health & Safety management, including CDM Regulations
• Commercially astute with excellent financial and project management skills
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills
• Ability to lead teams, manage change, and deliver projects successfully under
pressure
