We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Engineering Administrative Assistant who enjoys working in a busy engineering environment where accuracy and organisation are key.

As an Administrator / Engineering Administrative Assistant you will support the Welding Inspector and wider Quality Department by coordinating documentation, maintaining compliance records and ensuring smooth administrative workflows.

The Administrator / Engineering Administrative Assistant will use strong communication skills, data entry accuracy, and excellent IT capability to manage technical files, digital records and office documentation within structured procedures.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Administrator / Engineering Administrative Assistant include:

• Administration Support: Provide comprehensive administration assistance within engineering-related activities

• Documentation Management: Maintain technical documentation and compliance records

• Data Entry: Carry out accurate data input, retrieval and database updates

• File Organisation: Organise physical and digital filing systems

• Document Creation: Produce documents, spreadsheets and presentations

• Archiving: Archive records in line with compliance and quality procedures


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience of working in an administrative role within an engineering environment

• Experience with documentation control, data entry and record keeping

• Excellent communication and IT skills, including MS Office and database management

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured compliance processes

• A background in fast-paced environments with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks calmly and effectively
