We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about developing others, committed to high standards of patient care, and motivated to innovate in both clinical and educational settings. You will join a supportive team within a large, multi-site pharmacy department, contributing to both undergraduate teaching and clinical service delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking pharmacist to combine clinical practice with a strong focus on education and training. Based at our Royal Liverpool Hospital site, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of pharmacy education through collaboration with the University of Liverpool, while also delivering advanced clinical pharmacy services within our Acute and Emergency Medicines team.
• Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of hospital experiential learning (simulation and placements) for undergraduate pharmacy students across all four years of the MPharm programme.
• Collaborate with the University of Liverpool Pharmacy Teaching Team to contribute to curriculum development, teaching, and assessment of clinical pharmacy skills.
• Coordinate and quality-assure hospital placements, embedding Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) and supporting placement supervisors through training and guidance.
• Deliver an advanced clinical pharmacy service to patients in our Acute admissions areas and Emergency department. This will include medicines reconciliation, prescribing independently and as part of MDT ward rounds, medicines optimisation, and therapeutic drug monitoring.
• Support the education and training of pharmacy undergraduates, trainee pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in clinical audit, guideline implementation, and service development initiatives.
• Engage in continuing professional development and contribute to the strategic development of pharmacy education and clinical services.

The post holder will:
• Lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of hospital
experiential learning to undergraduate pharmacy students across the

(UoL)
• Provide and develop undergraduate clinical pharmacy teaching and
assessments at UoL in line with the GPhC Standards for the Initial
Education and Training of Pharmacists
• Provide an advanced clinical pharmacy service to patients and staff
within a clinical specialty
• Provide non-medical prescribing services
• Assist the Lead Clinical Pharmacist – Education and Training in
