Monitor standards of care, deploying and supervising team members as appropriate and the daily clinical patient care. Co-ordinate the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care programs which reflect the individual needs of patients. Plan, implement and evaluate a learning contract for student nurses involving multi-disciplinary agencies Have the initiative to respond to challenging unpredictable situations/behaviours within the caring environments Help manage any complaints, errors, concerns and other untoward occurrences in line with local policies, procedures and guidelines.( this includes issues relating Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults and Children) Know when to escalate clinical or operational issues to direct line manager.
