The Professional Academy is a work-based learning unit within the Engagement, Research and Commercialization department at the University of South Wales. The Professional Academy offering
includes Network75 a scheme developed over 25 years ago and the Welsh Degree Apprenticeships offered by USW.

Based primarily at Pontypridd, the Professional Academy Officer role is key to ensuring the two schemes run effectively and to target. The postholder will provide all aspects of administrative support/assistance
to the two initiatives by working closely with all project team members.

The postholders will ensure that a high level of accuracy in their work is maintained and that they provide a professional customer service
approach at all times. The role provides a wide variety of administrative tasks from finance, student and industry liaison, and recruitment and selection.
