Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess childcare learners' progress in the workplace and write up observation and visit reports.
  • Arrange work placements for health and social care learners and monitor progress
  • Liaise with and support lecturers in delivering practical training and preparing students for work placements in a variety of health, health and social care, education, and childcare settings.
  • Source and coordinate suitable work placements, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
  • Complete and manage DBS paperwork and compliance.
  • Keep accurate records of placement locations, health and safety checks, assessment and support visits, and student attendance.
  • Monitor student development in the workplace, ensuring regular reviews of progress and achievement.
  • Support curriculum staff by liaising on work experience placement issues and working to resolve them.

Preferred Experience & Support:

  • Experience in early years or childcare settings is preferred.
  • Support will be provided to achieve an assessing qualification if not already held.

If you're ready to take on this challenging yet rewarding role, apply now and join us in our mission to empower every student to reach their full potential!
