Quantity Surveyor
Portsmouth (Office-Based)
Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 DOE
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic construction business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director, assisting with pricing, tendering, and estimating, while managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the MD with pricing and tender submissions.
- Prepare and manage estimates and cost plans.
- Oversee 2-3 live projects, with values ranging from £110k to £3m.
- Handle valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensure projects remain commercially viable and delivered on time.
About the Role
- Office-based in Portsmouth.
- Most projects are located in London.
- Specialising in cladding, roofing, and scaffolding.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
- Strong knowledge of commercial management and tendering.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
