Summary
** Permanent Job Role **Do you have experience in Sea Freight Operations and a passion for delivering excellent customer service? We are seeking an organised and proactive Ocean freight / Multimodal Operator to join our forwarding team.
Experience :
- Minimum 2 years previous sea freight experience
- Customs clearance knowledge
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Air/road freight experience desirable but not essential
Duties Include:
- Manage sea freight import/export files from quotation to delivery
- Support air and road freight bookings (full training provided)
- Liaise with customers, agents and suppliers
- Arrange customs clearance and final delivery
- Resolve operational issues professionally
- Ensure accurate file costing and invoicing
- Make outbound calls to customers and prospects to help grow our multimodal offering
Shifts/ Pay:
- Monday - Friday 08:00 -17:00
- 34k to 36k (dependant upon experience)
