We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Kitchen Manager in an educational environment. As a Kitchen Manager with ISS UK, you will lead your team to deliver high-quality catering services for students and staff, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and an exceptional dining experience.
The Role
Lead and manage the kitchen team, supporting and developing staff to achieve their full potential.
Plan, prepare, and oversee the delivery of delicious, high-quality food for students and staff.
Ensure catering services run smoothly, meeting deadlines and maintaining prompt service of meals.
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety across the kitchen.
Uphold health and safety standards, keeping a secure and safe working environment.
Work collaboratively with the wider ISS team to deliver an exceptional experience for students, staff, and visitors.
Monitor stock, order supplies, and manage budgets to maintain cost-effective operations.
About You
Proven experience in a kitchen management role, with strong leadership skills.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or higher in cookery or catering management preferred.
Passionate about creating great-tasting, high-quality food.
Excellent understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with your team and the student community.
Highly organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Motivated to drive excellence, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
