Crynodeb
We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient focused, progressive Radiographer who is a good team players and will have excellent interpersonal, and communication skills and wishes to work at a centre specialising in trauma, neurosciences and stroke services
We have 5 MR scanners (3T Philips Elition, and three 1.5T Philips Ambition scanners) and an upgraded 1.5T GE scanner. The GE has been uplifted to a GE Artist with air coils and accelerator technology.
As part of our team, you will gain vast experience in imaging patients from a variety of specialities including, stroke, major trauma, neurosciences, and general surgery.
MR at Salford, part of the NCA, offers scanning to patients with implants such as pacemakers, cochlear implants, spinal stimulators, and patients who require general anaesthesia for MR. This will require you to have excellent team working skills, as you will be working closely with other departmental teams in delivering this service. You will rotate through all of our scanners, managing a wide array of acute and general examinations.
As an experienced MR radiographer, you will be involved with training of new staff and visiting students.
You will need to demonstrate that you are an enthusiastic, hardworking, motivated individual, who works well in a team and can work independently.
MR at Salford offers a 24 hour service, 7 days a week. Core hours are 8am-8pm . All staff contribute to weekend working and the on-call service
