FLEET MANAGER
About Us
KSD Haulage Ltd is a fast-growing Leicester-based transport and logistics company established in 2021. Starting with a single 44-tonne HGV, we have built a strong reputation for reliability and high-quality service, working with major UK retailers and distributors including Dunelm, DPD, Tesco, and Amazon. Today, we support a diverse portfolio of Midlands manufacturers and wholesalers, including longstanding partnerships with Natsons Midlands Packaging, Midlands Distribution Ltd, and seasonal national distribution contracts.
As we prepare to expand our fleet to four vehicles to support the growth of ISN Distributors Ltd, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Fleet Manager to join our team and play a vital role in the next phase of our development.
Role Overview:
The Fleet Manager will oversee the day-to-day coordination of our transport operations, ensuring optimal fleet performance, strong customer relationships, and full compliance with transport regulations. This is a key operational position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers, ensuring excellent service delivery.
Oversee the daily execution of transport plans, ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed on time, in full.
Ensure timely, targeted, and effective communication with both customers and internal stakeholders.
Manage agency driver requirements, ensuring vehicles are fully manned with trained drivers while controlling weekly agency spend.
Coordinate servicing schedules, maintenance, and repairs with approved partners to maximise fleet availability.
Overlook and liaise with the appointed CPC Transport Manager to ensure full HGV compliance, including adherence to safety, maintenance, and regulatory standards.
About You
Experience in transport operations, fleet management, or logistics coordination.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Understanding of transport compliance and HGV regulations (desirable).
Proactive, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
What We Offer
Competitive salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum.
Supportive and collaborative working environment.
Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
A chance to make a meaningful impact in a client-focused business.
Note : Sponsorship will be given to the eligible candidate, if needed.
Hours
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with occasional evenings/weekends for weddings, festivals, or events).
Note: By applying for this role, you confirm to share your CV and details communicated to Success Recruitment Consultancy Limited, with the Employer, and that you agree with the Terms and Conditions set out by Success Recruitment Consultancy Limited.
