This lovely family based in Lewisham, London, is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper-Cook to maintain a clean and organised home while preparing meals for the family. The role includes all general housekeeping duties, with occasional deep cleaning as needed. The ideal candidate will have a confident cooking background and be capable of managing day-to-day household tasks. The family has one dog, so candidates must be comfortable around pets.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Duties include:
Dealing with grocery shopping and maintaining receipts.
Placing orders for kitchen and utility supplies, including lamps for house lighting.
Keeping kitchen pots, pans, and work surfaces clean and in good condition.
Ensuring the refrigerator is clean and discarding out-of-date items.
Tidying and cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas.
Organising window cleaning services.
Washing and ironing laundry, including hand washing delicate items (some laundry and dry cleaning handled by collection services).
Answering the door.
Keeping patios, pathways, and steps clean and tidy.
Watering household plants.
Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Clearing away, tidying, and cleaning the kitchen and dining areas.
Presenting menus for approval and discussing dietary requirements with the client.
