Crynodeb
We are looking for dedicated workers to help harvest the 2025/2026 daffodil crop at Varfell Farm, near Penzance in Cornwall.
The season runs from late December to early April (Easter).
Picking daffodils is a physically demanding job, carried out outdoors in open fields in all weather conditions.
The role involves bending, walking on uneven ground, and lifting and carrying crates of flowers. A good level of fitness and stamina is essential.
Work Pattern
Work is typically Monday to Saturday, with Sundays off.
Working hours depend on crop volume and customer orders, with an average of 8 hours per day and 30–60 minutes unpaid breaks.
Requirements
• Must work to a high standard of quality and efficiency.
• No previous experience required – full training provided on site.
• Must have proof of Right to Work in the UK.
Pay Rates
Season starts in June.
We offer a rate of £12.21/hour, with bonuses based on performance and picking speed.
Accommodation
On-site accommodation available in shared caravans (4–6 people per unit).
Cost: £74.62/week, deducted from wages.
Agency support is available on-site to assist workers.
