Are you a finance and IT professional looking to make a meaningful difference within an organisation dedicated to resourcing growth and discipleship for urban Christians? Our client is seeking a highly skilled Finance and IT Officer to join their team.

As the Finance and IT Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that their financial and IT systems are managed effectively, allowing them to fulfil their mission and support their community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain effective finance management systems, including payroll, accounts, and budgets.

- Produce monthly finance reports and liaise with external stakeholders, including HMRC and the Charity Commission.

- With appropriate support, develop and maintain robust IT systems to ensure smooth operations within the office environment.

- Manage data protection and liaise with IT support to troubleshoot and resolve any issues promptly.

- Respond to requests for financial data and provide essential support for grant applications.

Ideal Candidate:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance role, preferably within a charity or not-for-profit organisation.

- Proven expertise in financial management and experience with bookkeeping and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

- Strong understanding of charity finance regulations and experience in liaising with HMRC and the Charity Commission.

- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
