The post holder will work as aSpecialist CAMHS Mental Health Nurse (Band 7)within theAdolescent Mental Health Team (AMHT)based in South Bedfordshire – Luton.
The role involves delivering specialist mental health assessments, interventions, and care coordination for adolescents, presenting with complex and high-risk mental health needs, including first-episode psychosis, severe depression, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, and trauma-related difficulties.
The post holder will act as aCare Coordinatorwithin theCare Programme Approach (CPA)framework, working collaboratively within amultidisciplinary team (MDT)that includes psychiatry, psychology, social work, and occupational therapy.
They will contribute to the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based care, ensuring the involvement of young people and families throughout the therapeutic process, and will uphold the Trust’s values ofWe Care, We Respect, We Are Inclusive.
