About the Role

A leading organisation within the Aerospace, Defence, and Marine sectors is seeking a talented Multi-Skilled Engineer to join its Test and Qualification team. This is a hands-on, technical role offering the opportunity to work on high-integrity safety systems that make a real impact across critical industries.

You’ll be involved in both analytical and practical engineering, managing technical requirements, leading verification activities, and contributing to the successful qualification of products that meet the most demanding performance and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute qualification and verification programmes based on product requirements.

Plan, conduct, and report on test and qualification activities for new and existing products.

Perform engineering analysis and modelling to validate product performance.

Review existing data to identify potential for test data re-use between similar products.

Collaborate across disciplines to ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and documentation.

Support and promote a strong safety-first culture within all engineering activities.

Skills & Experience

Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline.

2–5 years’ experience in a multi-disciplined engineering environment.

Experience in test planning, execution, and reporting for product qualification.

Strong understanding of mechanical principles and verification practices.

Familiar with DFMEA processes and documentation.

Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks (3D).

Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proactive team player with a focus on continuous improvement.
