As a Programme/Groupwork Facilitator at Change Grow Live, your focus will be on delivering and developing group/pod work programmes, such as Foundations of Recovery. You will work with other programme facilitators and professionals within your project to design and deliver groups/pods, using evidence based practice, covering the most appropriate issues to your service users.

With this role you’ll be working as part of West Sussex Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Network countywide team, however your base will be in Crawley.

Part Time Hours: 18.75 per week

Full Time Salary Range: £27,861.26– £32,002.35*


*Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.


About the role:

Provide core psychosocial interventions relevant to drug and alcohol recovery, including 1:1 key work, pod/ group based work, harm minimisation and brief interventions
Participate in multi-disciplinary assessments, risk management and planning using whole person and trauma- informed approaches
Work in collaboration with prescribing and clinical colleagues to support the delivery of specialist interventions
Support with onward referral to a range of treatment and community support agencies


About you:

Experience of working with groups/ pods and managing group dynamics such as conflict and challenging behaviour
Ability to identify the needs of groups
Knowledge of CBT, REBT, Drug and Alcohol recovery work
Experience of Motivational Interviewing and Psychosocial Interventions
Experience of how to work with challenges associated with substance and alcohol use e.g., cravings and triggers.
