We’re looking for a Training Coordinator to play a key role in delivering high-quality training that meets industry needs and CITB’s strategic objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on planning, problem-solving, and building strong relationships.

Hours of Work: Part-time (28 hours per week, 0.8 FTE)

Working Pattern: To be discussed at interview

Contract: Permanent

Grade: TM3

Pro Rata Target Salary: £28,144 per annum (FTE 1.0 £35,180 per annum)

Location: NCC East, Bircham Newton, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, PE31 6RH (on-site role)

About the Role

As a Training Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining the full training schedule for our curriculum areas. Working closely with Programme Managers, Sales Managers, and Curriculum Managers, you’ll ensure that our courses are delivered effectively and efficiently across the UK.

You’ll be the go-to expert on our training products and scheme rules, managing relationships with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth delivery and maximum attendance. Your decisions will have a direct impact on income, customer satisfaction, and the success of our training programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and maintain the full training programme for Health and Safety courses.
Coordinate delivery by liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.
Manage trainer allocation and source external suppliers using tendering frameworks.
Monitor course performance, making data-driven decisions to meet demand and maximise attendance.
Negotiate venue bookings and ensure cost-effective delivery.
Provide expert advice and guidance to customers and colleagues.
Maintain accurate financial records and resolve supplier payment issues.
Continually develop product knowledge and ensure compliance with awarding body requirements.
What we’re looking for:

Essential

Strong communication skills – confident, clear, and persuasive.
Experience managing customer and stakeholder relationships.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and numeracy to Level 2.
Desirable

Knowledge of CITB training products and construction industry schemes (SSP, CISRS, CPCS).
