Position: Support Manager & Support Worker (Split role)
Location: Kettering & Northampton
Hours: 37 contracted hours per week (25 hrs as Support Worker and 12.5 as Support Manager)
Salary: £25,488.38 per annum

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced support professional who is ready to take the next step into a Support Manager role, based in Kettering & Northampton. The position will be a split role, combining responsibilities as both a Support Manager and a Support Worker, offering a unique chance to stay hands-on while developing leadership skills. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and eager to grow within a developing and expanding service.
You’ll bring strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills, along with a proactive and supportive approach to working with others. While you may not have led a team before, you’ll have the confidence, initiative, and drive to step into a leadership role—and we’ll support you to build on your experience and grow your career.
About the candidate:

- Previous management experience in adult care
- Able to work alongside other Support Managers and Operations Managers
- Competent with IT
- At least 2 years of experience in adult care
- Able to manage staff effectively including staff issues in line with policy and procedures.
- Experience of delivering high quality, personalised support within the Health and Social Care sector along with the ability to lead and motivate a team of people to deliver excellent services
- You will need to possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to support with customer and their needs
- Understanding of the Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018 and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and understand the importance of confidentiality
