What you'll do
You'll play a vital role in commercial operations, ensuring strong cost control and financial visibility across multiple developments:
- Oversee financial management for 3-4 live sites at different build stages
- Set budgets, issue subcontractor packages, assess applications & process payments
- Prepare bi-monthly CVRs and confidently present reporting to senior leadership
- Negotiate and secure best value to support improved margins
- Forecast and plan using COINS for accurate financial performance insight
- Work collaboratively with Construction, Sales, Customer Care & Accounts
- Promote safe working practices across all commercial activity
- Support junior members of the team, helping to build capability and standards
- Provide commercial insight to assist key business decisions when required
What you'll bring
We're looking for a proactive Quantity Surveyor who can hit the ground running:
- HND/HNC minimum in a construction-related discipline
- Experience within the UK residential house-building sector
- Strong commercial and analytical capabilities
- Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Excel & Word essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to prioritise workload across multiple developments
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- A commitment to quality and continuous improvement
