Summary

We're looking for a Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Advisor to join our Transportation team based in Twyford, Buckinghamshire. In this role, you'll champion the highest standards of SHEA compliance across the business. Due to the nature of this position a full driving licence is essential.

Location: Twyford, Buckinghamshire - travel to the office required with some remote working available

Contract: Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week - - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

Salary: £38,000 to £43,000 per year + £5k annual car allowance + benefits

Responsibilities

As a SHE Advisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring full compliance with all legal obligations, client requirements, and Kier Group's SHEA Integrated Management System (IMS).

Your day to day will include:

-Actively promote Safety, Health and Welfare, leading and setting a good example to other employees and stakeholders

-Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported quickly and are also effectively investigated, contributing to Incident Review Boards and Incident Review Panels

-Manage the reporting and review of SHEA accidents / incidents on the contract

-Assist in evaluating staff to ensure their capacity, capability, and competency are consistently maintained



What are we looking for?

This role of SHE Advisor is great if you have:

-Experience working in a similar role in construction

-NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent

-Membership of relevant professional institution (e.g. Tech IOSH or above)
