Weekly Hours – 8.15am to 3.45pm Monday to Friday
Interviews to be conducted as suitable candidates apply
We’re looking for a warm, professional, and super-organised Receptionist to run our busy, fast-paced front desk. You’ll be the first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff, and visitors—creating a welcoming atmosphere while keeping everything running smoothly.
What you’ll do: • Greet everyone with a friendly, professional approach. • Manage a busy switchboard and handle calls efficiently. • Organise post, deliveries, and admin tasks. • Support the school office team and keep things moving.
What we’re looking for: • Reception experience (school experience a bonus). • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • Calm under pressure, with a can-do attitude. • Confident with Microsoft Office and office systems.
What We Can Offer You • Free onsite parking • Large staffroom with resourced kitchen with complimentary hot and cold beverages • Employer contribution pension scheme, with Life Cover • Access to employee benefits including discounts on travel and purchases from local shops, cafes and restaurants • 24 hour free, confidential Employee Assistance Programme • Annual Flu Vaccination
If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love being at the heart of the action, we’d love to hear from you! Visits to the school are warmly welcome. To arrange a visit or to find out more about the role, please contact Lisa Snook (HR Officer). We reserve the right to close this vacancy early, should we appoint an appropriate candidate If you have not been contacted within three weeks of the closing date you must assume that your application has, on this occasion, been unsuccessful.
The above post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory check supplied by the Disclosure & Barring Service. The check will include any cautions, reprimands or final warnings as well as convictions.
