Provide expert clinical leadership and oversight during shifts, acting as the senior point of contact. Mentor, support, and supervise junior staff, fostering a positive learning environment. Coordinate patient flow within the team , and multidisciplinary teamwork. Conduct rapid assessments of deteriorating patients and escalate care appropriately. Champion safety, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and policies. Manage complex situations and clinical incidents, ensuring robust documentation. Role-model exceptional, compassionate care and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Optimise resource allocation and support the Team Lead and Associate Director of Nursing for People with Mental Health Needs in daily operational delivery.
Croydon Health Services NHS Trust provide hospital and community services from a number of community and specialist clinics throughout Croydon. The Trust was formed on 1st August 2010 through the integration of Croydon Community Health Services and Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust. Around 4,100 staff provide services for a population of over 360,000 people who are relatively young with a high level of ethnic diversity.
Our main hospital site, Croydon University Hospital is one of the busiest in London.
