Line manager: Reception Manager and Practice Manager Accountable to: Practice Manager or GP Partner in their absence Hours per week : Min 8 Job summary The role of Medical Receptionist and Practice Administrator at Alderley Edge Medical Practice is to provide comprehensive reception and administrative support tothe GP Partners and the Practice Manager. To support the clinical team by signposting patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or service, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. The position will be to support the Practice Manager in all aspects of insurance report and form work, scheduling and rostering of medical students as well as supporting the Finance Manager with elements of research co-ordination and searches. Additionally we would expect the candidate to undertake reception duties as part of the role, supporting the administrative team in delivering a polite and professional service to the patient population. This will include daily duties as part of task list, open and close as required, and managing administrative duties to support the clinical team and patients. The successful candidate will be well organised, a team player, able to prioritise their work, have good attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.
