We are seeking a highly professional and commercially minded Health and Safety Consultant to join our established consultancy team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of corporate clients, providing strategic guidance and practical support to strengthen their health, safety and compliance performance.
Based in Telford but working with clients nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver expert consultancy services including audits, inspections and comprehensive risk assessments.
Develop, review and implement robust health and safety policies, management systems and improvement plans.
Provide authoritative advice aligned with UK legislation and recognised industry standards.
Lead incident investigations and support clients with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Prepare high-quality technical reports, board-level briefings and compliance documentation.
Facilitate training programmes and stakeholder engagement sessions to drive a positive safety culture.
Candidate Profile:
Demonstrate experience in a health and safety advisory or consultancy role, preferably within a corporate or multi-site environment.
In-depth knowledge of relevant UK legislation, standards and best practice guidance.
Exceptional communication, presentation and client-relationship skills.
Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and influence decision-making.
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum); NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
