Crynodeb
A Personal Care Assistant is required to assist a lady with her care and domestic/social needs, both at home and in the community. There are 14.5 permanent hours per week plus many more temporary hours throughout December with an Asap start (due to staff holidays)
The personal assistant must be reliable and able to work flexible hours and must respect her privacy; understanding the need for confidentiality in all areas of work.
The work involves:
· Washing/Feeding/Dressing
· Light general domestic duties ensuring areas are clean and tidy
· Assisting with drinks and snacks
· Making the bed to specific requirements
· Changing of bed linen
· Occasional laundry duties
· Shopping etc.
A friendly disposition and good sense of humour are required for the position, but previous experience is not as training can be given.
A Driver is also required to drive the lady's mobility vehicle
The permanent hours are:
Friday: 9.30 am till 12
Saturday & Sunday 9.30 am till 12 & 5 pm till 8.30 pm
The temporary December hours are throughout the week covering similar shifts.
The rate of pay is £13.25 to £14.70 per hour (depending on experience)
A DBS is required
