My client is a small, welcoming primary school in Hyde with a strong sense of community and a commitment to providing high-quality education for every child. Their dedicated team works hard to create a safe, supportive environment where pupils thrive academically and personally.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 Class Teacher to guide our pupils through their final year of primary school.
You will be required to:Deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum, ensuring pupils are well-prepared for end-of-Key-Stage assessments (SATs).
Support pupils' academic progress and emotional well-being during this crucial transition year.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, assess, and moderate pupil work.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.
Uphold safeguarding and behaviour standards in line with KCSIE.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching KS2 (Year 6 preferred).
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and SATs requirements.
Excellent classroom management and high expectations for all learners.
A reflective practitioner with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
