A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 10 year old boy living in the Rhondda. I currently have a diagnosis of ADHD and Autism. I am very energetic, likeable and charming boy with a witty sense of humour. I can however display challenging behaviours especially around changes to my daily routine. I am very specific on time; you will need to be punctual. It takes me some time to build trust with someone
I don't like many sports however I do like swimming and I am currently having lessons. I also like to go to the park and to play centres. Most of all I like to be outdoors especially on a beach or going for walks as this is where I feel calmest and happiest. My PA would also have to enjoy being outdoors and also be willing to travel outside of the local area.
I do not mind the odd trip to the cinema or bowling if the weather is poor, however they would have to be limited as being indoors for long periods of time can escalate my challenging behaviours.
PURPOSE OF JOB
The role is to work as my PA.
The role will involve working alongside another PA quite often as most of my support is 2:1

Supporting my family for me to attend appointments
Providing support at home for my family to have respite
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Experience of working with children with Autism and ADHD is highly desirable for this post, however personal experience would be considered dependent upon knowledge.
