Female Support Worker – Supported Living (Lone Working)
Location: Liskeard
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Variable shifts including days, evenings, weekends & some sleep-ins
We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team, supporting a friendly and active gentleman who uses a self-propelled wheelchair and requires 24/7 support in his own home.
About the Role
You will be providing one-to-one support (lone working) to help our client live as independently as possible. Support is required with most aspects of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and attending community activities.
Our client leads a busy and fulfilling life — he enjoys going to the gym twice a week, attending a day club twice a week, going to church on Sundays, and visiting his dad three times a week. He has his own vehicle which support staff drive to ensure he can get to all his regular activities safely and on time.
What We’re Looking For
Someone compassionate, patient, and reliable
Comfortable with lone working and using initiative
Willing to support with personal care and daily routines
Confident driver (must hold a full, clean UK driving licence)
Flexible with working hours – including some sleep-in shifts
