The Health, Safety and Environment Advisor is responsible for helping to drive forward effective health, safety & environmental (HSE) processes and systems in London and the South East.

Business Support
Implementing health, safety and environmental policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation.
Engaging with managers, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical health, safety and environmental related enquires.
Conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations. Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in health and safety performance.
Engaging with the client and other external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact
Technical
Undertake site audits, inspections, risk assessments and method statements
Attend design, client and site meetings to give advice and discuss H&S
Have a strong safety presence on projects
Provide support, guidance and advise on all H&S matters
A little about you
A little about you
The successful Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:
Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a construction or rail or facilities setting, or a related industry
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent level 3 qualification
IOSH membership at Associate level or above
Contractor management experience
CDM regulations 2015
Experience/knowledge of the ISO management systems
Strong communication skills with experience engaging colleagues at all levels
