To work within the designated Team, according to the Teampractices, ethos and responsibilities.To support the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluationof care plans by other staff, and take clinical responsibility for theirdelivery, where appropriate. To work across professional and organisational boundaries todevelop and sustain appropriate relationships, partnerships andnetworks to influence and improve the mental health, outcomes, andhealth care delivery for children/young people and theirfamilies/carers. To work within the designated Team, according to the Teampractices, ethos and responsibilities. To utilise highly developed body language, demonstratingengagement with the child/young person and family/carers, andspecific visual and auditory skill to observe behaviour, interactionsand family dynamics. To be able to communicate effectively in a group/workshop scenario,this may include up to 20 participants. To build collaborative relationships with service users and significantothers that will promote engagement in the therapeutic process. To work in collaboration with other agencies involved in the care ofthe family, where appropriate. To be involved in referrals andtransfer of care, where required. To provide specialised advice and education in relation to the care ofchildren/young people and families/carers. To provide advice and consultation within own clinical area, and forother appropriate agencies, working across professional andeducational boundaries, to promote high quality mental health careand wellbeing for children/young people and their families/carers. To participate within the multi-disciplinary team, in engagingcolleagues from other agencies to facilitate the development ofappropriate, effective and comprehensive services. To ensure attendance at, and appropriate and professionalexpression of relevant clinical opinions into multi-agency teamdiscussions. To attend local, regional and national training and servicedevelopment meetings, as required and agreed with clinicalsupervisor/Operations Manager Develop and maintain relations with local, regional and nationalservices, including Health, Education , Social Care, and the Voluntarysector, to ensure that services are client centred. To clinically supervise other clinical staff and students, both directlyduring client contact and indirectly through the process of clinicalsupervision To supervise appropriate students, and to provide feedback asappropriate to the relevant partiesTo work in partnership with clients, colleagues and medical staff tofulfil the statutory/professional role. To promote understanding of the needs of children with ADHD/ASDto other health professionals, staff groups, agencies and the generalpublic.To use professional skills and knowledge to develop and maintaintherapeutic relationships with children/young people and theirfamilies/carers, whilst developing and maintaining professionalboundariesFor further information on the advertised role, please refer to the job description located under the Supporting Documents heading.
