​Equans is recruiting a Joiner to be part of our team in Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, EH16 4SA. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is salary of £32,500.00 per annum and benefits package.Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 - 1600This role includes a Disclosure Scotland Check to PVG Level, therefore ability to pass is essential What will you deliver?Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities as directed by the Fabric Supervisor/Fabric Manager.Liaise with Fabric Supervisor and Fabric Manager to request the supply of goods and/or services when necessary.Use cause and effect analysis along with detailed examination techniques to diagnose faults, utilizing all relevant drawings and schematics.Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections in line with published procedures.Complete all required report sheets, test certificates, and update drawings with any alterations.Prepare and complete all Task and Risk Assessment sheets related to assigned work.Operate all relevant tools and equipment safely, strictly adhering to Equans Guidelines and Controls (e.g., Risk Assessment, Site Safety, Fire Safety, Control of Infection, Hazardous Substances).Maintain an understanding of how other craftsmen’s work relates to and impacts your own tasks.Commit to ongoing training to learn new techniques and maintain up-to-date skills.Fully understand the inter-relationships between various maintenance crafts.Perform any other duties as requested by supervisors or managers.Work overtime to perform emergency repairs as required.Execute planned and preventative maintenance tasks effectively.What can we offer you?:On offer is a salary of £32,500 per annum and in addition you will receive an excellent benefits package, which includes;24 days annual leave (+ public holidays)Life Cover equivalent to 1.5 times annual salaryEmployee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailersGym membership discounts Cycle to work scheme Holiday purchase scheme2 corporate social responsibility days per yearBroad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training, and personalized support programmesAttractive Employee Referral Rewards SchemeAccess to our growing employee networks including WiE (Women in Equans), RISE (BAME), LGBTQI+, Working Parents, YPN (Young Persons Network) and our Disability Network24/7 Employee Assistance Program and access to mental wellbeing appWho are we looking for?:Qualified with an appropriately recognised Certificate & Grade (C&G), SCOTVEC (SVQ3), or equivalent qualification in joinery.Strong problem-solving abilities using technical schematics and cause-effect analysis.Commitment to safety standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.Ability to work flexibly including overtime for emergency situations.Collaborative mindset to work within a multi-craft team.Willingness to undergo continuous training and development.
