Summary of what the candidate must have to apply:
Strong administrative background within a busy service environment.
Solid experience handling sensitive information and maintaining accurate records
Confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good standard of education, including Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent.
Experience working with defined business processes and supporting colleagues in their use.
Ability to manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines.
The role: You will be the first point of contact for the Pest Control and Hygiene Service, handling enquiries by phone, email and face to face. You will support the day to day running of the service, ensuring administrative processes, financial tasks and record keeping are completed accurately and on time. You will also help maintain quality control systems and support policy, procedure and documentation updates.
Key accountabilities:
Handle all inbound contact, including post, emails and calls, dealing with queries professionally.
Carry out all administrative tasks to keep the service running smoothly, including raising invoices and minute taking.
Assess service complaints and escalate where needed, aiming to resolve issues at first point of contact.
Maintain quality control systems and documentation and act on any issues raised.
Produce marketing and sales material in consultation with senior staff
Compile scheduled and ad hoc reports using MS Office.
Keep all electronic and paper records accurate and up to date.
Manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Support banking, debt recovery and invoice payment processes.
Work in line with safeguarding, customer care, equalities, GDPR and health and safety requirements.
Requirements/key criteria:
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
Competent user of all standard office IT packages.
Able to interrogate databases and produce statistical reports.
Capable of prioritising a complex workload to meet performance targets.
Able to identify practical solutions to complex tasks and improve service processes.
Strong team player with solid time management.
A working knowledge of pest control is desirable but not essential.
