Pay Rate: £14.59 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
This opening assignment is for 3 months

Confident dealing with the public, including difficult situations
Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills
Able to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Good IT skills, able to manage documents and system processes

Level 2 literacy and numeracy
Flexible, reliable and comfortable working with vulnerable customers
The role: Supporting the smooth administration of the housing register for Northern Lincolnshire. You will assess applications, validate documents, respond to enquiries, and apply the Home Choice Lincs policy accurately. The role involves handling sensitive information and providing clear advice to applicants and partner agencies.
Key accountabilities:
Process and maintain housing register applications
Respond to enquiries from applicants and partners
Assess eligibility and priority using sensitive information
Support vulnerable or distressed applicants
Request, check and validate all required documentation
Liaise with partners on arrears, behaviour and tenancy issues
Refer at risk applicants to homelessness prevention
Apply banding policy correctly
Support system users and liaise with the provider
Advertise properties and provide accurate shortlists
Assist with marketing and other housing register tasks
Requirements/key criteria:
Social housing experience desirable
Strong verbal and written communication
Negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential data professionally
Good IT confidence
Able to build strong working relationships
Knowledge of Housing Act 1996 Part 6 desirable
