Working to the Transformation Change Lead the Senior Change Deployment Manager has a major role to play in the transformation journey. The role has primary accountability for the delivery of large complex projects by planning, evaluating & for completing the technical, project and change management and governance tasks for all projects and revisions that are deployed within an operational pipeline area.
Working directly in units with the operational teams to introduce and lead through a structured range of project activities and engagement processes to ensure projects are deployed to cost, quality and benefit, whilst at the same time achieving sustainability through the engagement and involvement of the end users.
About the role
In this position you’ll
- Lead delivery of large-scale complex project strands, commercial projects and medium to large delivery office revisions (where a phased approach is required) within the scope of the Integrated Transformation Plan to time, cost, benefit & quality.
- Lead a team of Change Deployment Managers to provide a cohesive technical and people focused approach to project deployment from start up through early life support and PIR.
- Develop team members to ensure high performance and continuous improvement become a way of working.
- Leads a unit / plant Start-Up and stakeholder engagement meeting to ensure all deployments are fully understood and adopted by the receiving population. Challenge where stakeholders are not actively engaged.
- Complete weekly reporting on progress vs the plan to all stakeholders
- Follow and look to continuously improve all nationally agreed processes/national agreements relevant to the change being introduced.
About you
To excel in this role you'll possess the following skills and criteria:
- Ability to coherently articulate how the project will deliver a coherent element(s) of the Integrated Transformation Plan
- Ability to simultaneously manage a set of revisions in various phases of deployment.
- Ability to manage activities of the project and/or revisions with multiple key stakeholders.
- Ability to utilise appropriate measurement tools to evaluate the on-going progress and effectiveness of the work
- stream/package.
- Proven use of programme management and change management methods, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to effectively engage, communicate and establish credibility with all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to work closely with the entire project and operational teams.
Please note, the role requires regular travel around the region covered.
Experience:
- Proven experience of delivering project work packages to time/cost/quality within an overall project
- Proven experience of working in teams/virtual teams in dynamic environments (up to 50+ people)
- Proven experience of operating at middle management level Qualifications:
- Project management certification – APM PFQ desirable
- Change Management certification – Prosci desirable.
