An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a dynamic, evolving team within Clinical Engineering team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in the role of Medical Equipment Library Assistant. Possessing excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, you must be able to work autonomously and as part of our team.

We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. As valued members of the team you will participate, direct and manage the medical equipment training and library service across the organisation.
• The post holder will be the Trust’s expert in medical devices training and this will include providing and recording core medical devices training, ensuring trust compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and arrange externally provided training where necessary to assist Departmental Trainers in arranging training for medical devices.
• The post holder will ensure that all relevant Trust staff have the appropriate knowledge and skills to safely operate medical devices within their specialties.
• The post holder will be responsible for participating in a quality system within Clinical Engineering with the aim to achieve accreditation to provide assurance on the medical equipment library service being provided.
• You should have strong influencing and negotiation skills and should have experience working in either an acute or community setting. A good knowledge of medical devices is essential for this role.
